Objectives
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Identify patients who may require the administration of specialized psychological and pharmacological interventions to accomplish optimal nuclear medical and molecular imaging procedures.

2. Instruct patients, caregivers, advocates, providers, and staff how to develop treatment plans to prepare patients to develop the ability to hold still in uncomfortable positions in closed spaces without stress for extended durations of procedures.

3. Train technologists to facilitate the completion of optimal scans of challenging patients through reinforcement of desired behaviors in collaboration with parents and caregivers during nuclear medical and molecular imaging procedures. 

Target Audience
The Life Long Learning and Self-Assessment activity is designed for all nuclear medicine physicians and radiologists.
