Target Audience

This article contains information of value to physicians in nuclear medicine, radiologists as well as to nuclear medicine technologists and pharmacists.

1. Describe the biology and pharmacokinetics of 18F-fluoroestradiol; 
2. Describe the current experience with 18F-fluoroestradiol in patient studies on breast cancer and other diseases; 
3. Discuss potential clinical applications and the possible future clinical use of 18F-fluoroestradiol PET.
