Objectives

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  1. Explain the basics of CT imaging as part of the PET/CT examination
  2. Describe the differences between diagnostic CT and CT for attenuation correction
  3. Discuss the pros/cons of performing AC CT with/without contrast medium.
  4. Perform daily CT quality control and describe its influence on image quality
  5. Demonstrate CT image acquisition techniques used in a clinical research PET/CT examination
