Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Review the pertinent cross-sectional anatomy and key CT and MR imaging features of disorders of the brain and skull base pertinent to nuclear medicine practice using a case-based approach.
  2. Identify the current role of CT and MR in the evaluation of these disorders. 
  3. Discuss interpretation skills in CT and recall normal CT anatomy.

The Society of Nuclear and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) offers mentored CT case reviews in support of the intersociety continuing education recommendations for physicians who interpret CT and hybrid CT images.  After successfully completing enduring case review activities, learners will receive a certificate indicating the number of cases completed. This activity offers 12 case credits.

VOICE (Technologists)
SNMMI, through its Verification of Involvement in Continuing Education (VOICE) program, has approved this enduring material for a maximum of 2.0 continuing education hours (CEHs). VOICE-approved credit is recognized by most licensure states and by the NMTCB and ARRT as Category A+ credit. To receive CE credit, you must first complete the activity content, achieve a score of 80% on the post-course assessment and complete the evaluation.  You will have no more than 3 attempts to successfully complete the post-test.
