Dr. Divgi is an Indian medical graduate who worked as a Nuclear Medicine physician on the development of monoclonal antibodies at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, between 1985 and 2006, when he joined the University of Pennsylvania as Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Clinical Molecular Imaging; he was responsible for the establishment and growth of PET/CT there.  He joined Columbia University as Vice-Chair, Diagnostic Radiology, and Chief of Nuclear Medicine and PET in April 2011, and is responsible for the resumption of the cyclotron/radiochemistry program.  His interests lie in radiolabeled macromolecules for detecting and treating cancer.

2. Examine the apoptosis imaging agents currently in clinical trials.
3. Discuss FDA categories relevant to imaging biomarker development.
4. Review basic requirements for clinical development of imaging biomarkers.
